2009 - I am back

A two year hiatus. I needed that much needed seclusion to rediscover and define myself. I was burned out.

But I shall try to blog on a regular basis again, I have a very good feeling about 2009, I have had this very good feeling for some months. As a process of coming out of seclusion I have been rediscovering my old friends and my old adventures. Many of them have not been written yet, they deserve to be.

I have just submitted an application to the best job in the world in Australia. Its funny that when you have a confident feeling in your gut everything works out exactly. I had planned to quit my job this year and find a new way to pay for my research so that I can return to the Nicobar Islands by Dec '09. That choice has been hastened last month. Now if this island caretaker job also comes through, I have to say my career and life are on upswings once again.

World! here I come, I am back.
